Job summary

Environmental Health Investigations, Inc. (EHI) is seeking an Environmental Project Manager / Industrial Hygienist. You will conduct field surveys, design remediation projects, and write scientific reports.

This role balances active fieldwork with hybrid work-from-home reporting and is based in Union, NJ with a preferred office base there. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years in environmental consulting or industrial hygiene, plus a valid driver’s license and ability to travel

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in Environmental Consulting or Industrial Hygiene.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for daily travel.
• Must live in NJ, NY, or PA and commute to tri-state field sites.

Responsibilities

• Conduct indoor air quality, mold, radon, and legionella risk evaluations.
• Perform asbestos, lead paint, and pre-demolition hazardous materials inspections.
• Design remediation projects and author technical scientific reports.
• Manage field projects independently with minimal supervision.
