Job summary

Eocene Environmental Group, Inc. seeks a Utilities Vegetation Supervisor to coordinate daily activities of CUFs and SCUFs, and to serve as a liaison between clients, utility personnel, and tree contractors in field settings.

The role requires ISA certification, a valid driver’s license with clean MVR, strong verbal and written communications, and the ability to work independently on vegetation management projects in Georgia. Safety leadership and adherence to on-site procedures are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree or experience in Forestry, Utility Arboriculture, Tree Biology, Environmental Sciences, Natural Resources, Conservation, or related fields.
• Five or more years of Utility Vegetation Management experience as minimum qualification.
• ISA Certification is a requirement and Utility Specialist certification within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities of Consulting Utility Foresters (CUFs) and Senior Consulting Utility Foresters (SCUFs).
• Act as intermediary between Eocene personnel, utility personnel, and tree contractors.
• Train, supervise, and audit CUFs & SCUFs.
• Serve as liaison between clients, tree crews, and client customers.
• Enforce on-the-job safety practices and report equipment needs.
