Our Westford, Massachusetts office seeks an Environmental Project Manager/LSP to join their team!
Responsibilities:
- Oversees a portfolio of diverse environmental projects with varied local, state (MA/CT/NH/VT/ME/RI) and federal regulatory drivers (i.e., MCP, Brownfields, RCRA, and Superfund).
- Supervises technical staff to complete deliverables including resource schedules, reports, technical memorandums, and proposals.
- Independently manages client interactions, project-level financial budgets, and resource allocation.
- Provides senior project oversight and direction with expert technical input on complex projects.
- Reviews and drafts technical reports focusing on quality and regulatory objectives.
- Evaluates subsurface characteristics for soil, vapor, and groundwater remediation projects.
- Understands remedial systems and applications under directives by a Professional Engineer.
- Prepares regulatory strategies for client advocacy and regulatory submittals.
- Communicates effectively with internal teams and business development leads to ensure consistent client service.
- Conducts performance reviews for direct reports and leads team meetings to discuss projects and staffing.
- Holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree in geology, environmental science, or a related scientific field.
Skills and Requirements:
- 5-10+ years of experience in investigation, reporting, remediation, and management of remedial sites/projects in MA and/or other NE states.
- Knowledge of Massachusetts environmental regulations (MCP 310 CMR 40.0000).
- Experience in technical report writing, client interaction, and supervision.
- Ability to author site work plans, reports, and proposals for complex scopes of work.
- Demonstrated managerial experience (client, financial, personnel management).
- Ability to maintain long-term account relationships through client satisfaction.
- Excellent communication, organizational, technical writing, and client service skills.
- Professional certification(s) such as LSP and/or LEP is a plus.
- Business development experience is a plus.
