  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering, Geology, or Environmental Science (Master's degree is a plus).
  • 6+ years applicable experience in due diligence; Phase I/II assessments; asbestos inspection a plus.
  • Ability to speak and write professionally, including client/regulatory submittals.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects, budgeting and cost control.
  • Demonstrated experience supervising technical and administrative staff.
  • Strong team player.
  • Experience with soils, groundwater, and vapor characterization at RCRA/CERCLA/Brownfield sites; remediation strategies.
  • Site investigation/remediation experience under state programs and RCRA Corrective Action.
  • Ability to work closely with staff and clients to deliver superior project outcomes.

Overview

As an Environmental Project Manager (Due Diligence and Site Investigation) with Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), in our Indianapolis, IN office, you'll be responsible for technical work and management of real estate, manufacturing, industrial, governmental, waste management and energy clients.



Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering, Geology, or Environmental Science (Master's degree is a plus)

  • 6+ years applicable experience in developing, managing, and/or performing due diligence; Phase I/II environmental assessments for real estate development; asbestos inspection experience is a plus

  • Ability to speak and write professionally, including experience with the preparation of client and regulatory submittals

  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects, budgeting and cost control

  • Demonstrated experience supervising technical and administrative staff

  • Strong team player

  • Experience with characterization of soils, groundwater, and vapor at RCRA, CERCLA, and Brownfield sites, as well as developing remediation strategies

  • Site investigation/remediation experience under state voluntary programs and RCRA Corrective Action

  • Ability to work closely with staff and clients to provide superior outcomes for projects
