PE seeks a dynamic Environmental Engineer, Geologist, or Scientist to join our Chicago office, handling Phase I/II ESAs, permitting, and regulatory investigations while managing project schedules and budgets. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science with environmental emphasis.
• 10+ years total experience and 5+ years of PM experience.
• Knowledge of geologic principles and soil classification.
• Familiar with CERCLA, RCRA, NEPA and state regulatory programs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Phase I ESAs and related due diligence projects.
• Develop work plans, health and safety plans, field sampling plans.
• Prepare soil boring logs, cross-sections, maps, and schematics.
• Perform sampling of soil, groundwater, surface water, sediments, air.
• Oversee remediation projects and regulatory reporting.
• Prepare technical reports and charts for review.
