Job summary

AKT Peerless is seeking a Senior Geologist/Hydrogeologist to join a multidisciplinary team in Michigan. You will lead due diligence and remediation projects, conduct Phase I and II ESAs, and manage hydrogeological investigations within a dynamic environment.

The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, high-quality written deliverables, and effective client communication, with opportunities for career advancement and a collaborative work culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Engineering, or related from an accredited university.
• 8-12 years of Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Engineering or related environmental experience.
• Strong background in environmental due diligence (Phase I, Phase II, BEA/due care).
• Experience with Michigan Environmental Regulations.
• Strong technical writing skills, proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Phase I ESAs to ASTM or higher standards.
• Conduct Phase II ESAs.
• Conduct hydrogeological investigations and remediation projects.
• Understand due diligence and brownfield redevelopment processes.
• Demonstrate knowledge of each project’s status and goals.
• Perform tasks across multiple disciplines to bring about project completion.
• Provide quality environmental services.
• Respond to customers promptly.
