Fehr Graham Engineering & Environmental seeks an Environmental Project Manager to lead environmental projects in Aurora, IL. You will build client relationships, manage scope and budgets, and ensure successful project outcomes through proactive communication and strategic thinking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's in Engineering, Geology, hydrogeology, biology, ecology, or physical science with environmental emphasis.
• Seven+ years of environmental or project management experience, preferably in consulting.
• PM certification and IL Professional Geologist license are highly valued.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and firm locations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design and manage environmental projects from inception through delivery.
• Develop new clients and maintain relationships with key decision makers.
• Oversee budgets, invoicing, scope and schedule adherence.
• Prepare contracts, statements of qualifications and fee proposals.
• Communicate complex ideas clearly to clients and team members.
• Conduct site visits and perform fieldwork as needed.
• Lead QC processes and ensure project quality for clients.
• Stay current on environmental markets and technology trends.
