Job summary

Republic Services is seeking an ES Project Manager to lead environmental projects at client sites in North Carolina. You will ensure regulatory compliance, safety procedures, and effective subcontractor oversight while delivering on scope, schedule, and budget.

You will apply knowledge of RCRA, DOT, TSCA and provide data reporting. Collaboration with sales and field teams will help identify compliant client solutions and opportunities for repeat business.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of complex environmental regulations (RCRA, DOT, TSCA) and safety practices.
• Analytical, organized, and problem-solving with attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure, exercise independent judgment, and manage resources and expenditures.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite regulatory inspections and support safety programs.
• Engage with customers to promote reuse, recycling, and treatment options.
• Provide data and reporting to customers per contract specifications.
• Coordinate with sales to identify opportunities and ensure compliance.
• Oversee subcontractors and ensure training and certifications are up to date.
