Job summary

Spyder Construction in Littleton, Colorado seeks an Environmental Project Director who will generate estimates, win clients, and own projects from site walk to final billing. This role blends office and field work, and rewards decisive relationship-building.

You’ll lead end-to-end deals, develop sharp proposals, manage budgets, and coordinate with owners, architects, and the production team. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of estimating and abatement in Colorado and a four-year degree.

Qualifications

• 7+ years estimating and managing abatement projects in Colorado
• Valid Colorado driver’s license and a record that meets Spyder requirements
• Water and fire damage mitigation experience (preferred)
• Equipment Operator Certifications (preferred)
• 4-year degree, preferably in Construction, Project Management, or a related field

Responsibilities

• Generate and manage technical estimates on company leads and your own referral network, meeting or exceeding goals.
• Walk potential projects, scope the repair accurately, and turn inspections into clients who call again.
• Own the client relationship from kickoff through closeout and keep weekly commitments.
• Prepare sharp, accurate proposals and negotiate change orders with owners, architects, and clients.
• Lead the room at project kickoffs and pre-construction meetings to align scope, budget, and schedule.
• Be escalation point for PMs, resolve scope disputes, and help PMs grow.
• Submit RFIs and monthly pay applications, coordinate with accounting on down payments and receivables
