Job summary

EnSafe seeks an Assistant Project Manager, Environmental Scientist or Geologist to join our Jacksonville, Pensacola, or Tampa offices. You will lead environmental investigations and remediation oversight, coordinate multi-office teams, and manage client communications across CERCLA, RCRA, and regulatory frameworks.

You will develop work plans, conduct site investigations, and prepare technical reports while supporting permitting efforts and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or related field.
• 5+ years of environmental assessment/remediation experience.
• Experience performing and/or reviewing Phase I ESAs.
• Knowledge of RCRA and CERCLA processes (RI/FS, RD/RA, ROD, LTM).
• Experience with DoD/Navy projects preferred.
• OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER certification.
• Proficiency in MS Office and project support tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental investigations and remediation oversight per CERCLA, RCRA, and state guidance.
• Lead cross-office technical teams and coordinate with clients and subcontractors.
• Develop Work Plans, Sampling and Analysis Plans, and field activities.
• Prepare and review technical reports and data interpretation.
• Travel regionally as needed (approximately 30%).
• Support permitting and regulatory compliance activities.
