Job summary

Canacre, a Quanta Services company, seeks an Environmental Project Manager to lead projects from conception through completion, ensuring quality assurance, risk assessment and on-budget delivery. You will communicate with clients, manage scope and milestones, and uphold Canacre’s standards for safety and performance.

You will coordinate internal resources, track progress, and report to senior management while fostering collaboration with stakeholders and third parties.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in Biology, Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, Project management or Business.
• 3-5 years professional services consulting experience with external clients.
• 2+ years' experience in management role.
• Experience with environmental permitting and construction compliance.
• Proven track record delivering projects on time and on budget.
• Ability to mentor and lead others.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead internal resources, set expectations and priorities, determine metrics, obtain deliverables and achieve milestones.
• Liaise with clients or Client Manager and provide reports, updates and solutions.
• Support development of project messaging for stakeholders including landowners and communities.
• Manage tracking and communication of project progress from task to cost.
• Ensure all client deliverables are completed on schedule.
