Position Overview

We have an excellent opportunity for a fully remote Environmental Project Estimator in our Hunt Valley, MD office.


Responsibilities

  • Develop estimates of project costs.

  • Review estimates prepared by other company estimators and provided by subcontractors.

  • Develop and review cost estimating data for Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) proposals.

  • Establish and refine corporate estimating policies and procedures.

  • Mentor operations staff who conduct project estimating functions.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in business administration, construction management, engineering, geology, or related field.

  • 10 years of experience in estimating environmental remediation and munitions response projects.

  • Experience in developing, updating, and maintaining estimating systems.

  • Proven ability to work as a project estimator using MS Excel.

  • Experience with RS Means, HCSS and/or estimating packages.

  • Experience with MS Project and P6 Software desired.

  • Advanced skills in building/automating cost spreadsheets.

  • Aptitude to understand, present technical information, and multitask across a number of programs.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.


Drug Screen Statement

Pay Range

$125,000 - $175,000 USD

The EA pay range for this position is intended as a general guideline and does not guarantee specific compensation or salary. Factors considered when making an offer include job responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, alignment with market data, and compliance with federal and state laws.
