Resource Options, Inc. in New Jersey is seeking a Project Engineer to join a rapidly growing environmental-field team. The role balances field work (about 70%) with office work (about 30%), and offers opportunities for advancement to Assistant Project Manager and Project Manager.

Overnight travel is expected roughly 25% of the time. Salary ranges from $65,000 to $83,000, commensurate with experience, with a base focus on field data collection, project support, and coordination between field

Qualifications

• B.S./B.A. in Environmental or Civil Engineering or related field required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and computer proficiency.
• Valid driving record and willingness to travel as needed.

Responsabilités

• Support in-house construction crews and site superintendents.
• Oversee subcontractors and maintain field logs.
• Prepare safety briefings and ensure field quality objectives are met.
• Collect field data via surveying and sampling equipment.
• Generate reports (Workplans, Health and Safety Plans, etc.).
• Develop AutoCAD drawings and manage project scheduling and logistics.
• Interact with clients, regulatory officials, and industry professionals.
