Job summary

Benchmark Environmental – A Division of FACS in San Jose, CA is seeking a highly organized Project Coordinator to support industrial hygiene projects from intake to invoicing. You will coordinate scheduling, field activities, document management, client communications, and cross‑functional tasks, partnering with inspectors and managers to ensure timely, compliant project delivery.

Qualifications

• Three years of office-setting experience.
• Two years of customer service experience.
• Effective, professional written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and Google applications.

Responsibilities

• Track and schedule projects using project tracking software.
• Manage projects from initiation to completion, including scheduling and client communication.
• Create and maintain electronic project folders and documentation for inspectors.
• Provide cross-functional support to other departments as required.
• Track daily reports and results to ensure timely delivery and project monitoring.
• Ensure reports and documentation are prepared for invoicing.
• Follow up with clients to confirm or reschedule appointments.
• Handle inbound sales calls and respond to general inquiries.
