Job summary

Light Environmental Inc. is seeking an Environmental Project Coordinator to manage projects from inception to completion.

You will coordinate between clients, regulators, and internal teams to ensure objectives are met on time and within scope. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering, 3+ years in project management or consulting, and strong knowledge of regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years in environmental project management or consulting.
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, permitting, and sustainability.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
• PMP certification or related credentials is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee environmental projects within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Serve as primary contact for clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams.
• Prepare and review proposals, reports, and compliance documentation.
• Conduct site assessments, data collection, and environmental impact analyses.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
• Monitor progress and address issues or delays proactively.
• Facilitate communication among team members and stakeholders to meet milestones.
• Assist in developing proposals and bids to secure new business opportunities.
• Support implementation of sustainable practices and innovative environmental solutions.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits.
