Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in environmental science, environmental management, environmental or chemical engineering, biology, hydrology, or other environmental discipline.
• 5-10 years of environmental experience in a regulatory agency, consulting, or private industry.
• 5 years of supervisory/leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage unit staff operations, training/coaching, and disciplinary actions; oversee unit budget and resource allocation.
• Serve as technical/regulatory resource for staff and stakeholders; act as unit decision-maker when needed.
• Maintain agency communications through staff and stakeholder meetings; respond to information requests for compliance and enforcement.
