Job summary

Commander, Navy Installations Command seeks an Environmental Program Manager for NAVSTA Mayport. You will lead environmental compliance, readiness exercises, and regulatory reporting to ensure Navy facilities meet federal standards.

You will coordinate with public works and installation teams, serve on environmental boards, and train personnel in emergency response and incident management. This role requires extensive knowledge of environmental laws and interagency coordination.

Qualifications

• Specialized experience coordinating environmental programs with Navy/public works stakeholders.
• Ability to interpret environmental laws, regulations, and policies impacting operations.
• Experience advising field activities to ensure spill response and cleanup standards.
• Communication with regulators, contractors, and installations to ensure compliance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate resource requirements for environmental programs with NAVSTA Mayport operations.
• Develop and implement compliance and readiness exercises per regulations.
• Represent the installation on environmental boards, teams and conferences.
• Prepare regulatory documents and reports for readiness drills and spill responses.
• Provide training on environmental and public health emergency response protocols.
