You will oversee investigation, evaluation, negotiation and, when needed, trial proceedings, while providing training and strategic direction across claims staff and allied departments. Experience in environmental and professional liability claims, strong leadership, and the ability to present to executives are essential.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years management/team lead experience in the Insurance Industry.
• Minimum 8-10 years insurance experience in Environmental and Professional Liability claims.
• Proven ability to present training programs to diverse groups.
• Self-motivated with minimal need for direction.
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with accounts and prospects.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Provide leadership to deliver superior results and develop strategies for World Class Environmental and Professional Liability Claims.
• Oversee strategies to investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and, if needed, proceed to trial.
• Offer technical guidance, training, and support for claims staff and other departments.
• Present high‑level cases to upper management in a collaborative setting.
• Coordinate with Corporate claims on matters impacting other units.
• Analyze incident data to identify root causes and trends.
• Hold bi-monthly meetings with senior underwriters and product managers.
• Serve as a Claims Ambassador on renewals and new business.
• Support internal bill review and ensure uninterrupted examiner workflow.
• Respond to coverage inquiries succinctly from brokers and insureds.
• Identify subrogation opportunities handled in-house.
• Assist with SOX controls, licensing, and department operations.
• Provide weekly and monthly claims reports.
• Assist underwriting with non-admitted coverage forms and endorsements.
• Collaborate with Finance on claims-related costs.
