The role requires a bachelor's in environmental engineering or related field, experience in heavy industry environmental compliance, and strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage environmental compliance programs, permits, records, and regulatory reporting activities.
  • Monitor environmental performance and support compliance with air, water, waste, and spill prevention requirements.
  • Conduct field inspections, audits, sampling activities, and compliance assessments across plant and quarry operations.
  • Partner with operations, maintenance, engineering, and safety teams to identify and implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support regulatory inspections, agency communications, permitting efforts, and environmental aspects of capital projects and operational changes.
