Heidelberg Materials is seeking an Environmental Professional to support environmental compliance and permitting at the Union Bridge cement plant and New Windsor quarry in Maryland. The role focuses on ensuring regulatory compliance and promoting sustainable manufacturing practices.
Responsibilities include managing permits, records, and reporting, plus field inspections and collaboration with operations, maintenance, and safety teams.

The Environmental Professional supports environmental compliance and permitting activities for the Union Bridge cement plant and New Windsor quarry, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations while partnering with operations to promote responsible and sustainable manufacturing practices.
Based at our Union Bridge, Maryland cement plant with responsibility supporting both the plant and New Windsor quarry operations. Combination of office and field work in an active heavy industrial environment. Regular plant, quarry, and conveyor system inspections are required. Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and around moving equipment. Occasional travel for training, regulatory meetings, or business needs may be required.
