Job summary

NEW Solutions, a partner for the National Park Service, seeks an Environmental Protection Specialist to support CERCLA, NEPA, and related environmental programs within the NPS Pacific West Region in Seattle. The Enrollee will advise on environmental compliance and coordinate with Federal agency staff, providing legal and technical expertise.

The role requires a J.D. with extensive experience in CERCLA and EPA regulations, and proficiency in Windows-based tools.

Qualifications

• J.D. with minimum 20 years in CERCLA, NCP, CWA, NEPA, NHPA, OSHA, EPA regs, TSCA, RCRA.
• Mastery of CERCLA cost recovery/enforcement and related law.
• Experience with Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Teams, MS Outlook, MS SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat.

Responsibilities

• Ensure activities align with CERCLA, NCP, NEPA, NHPA, OSHA, EPA regs, TSCA, RCRA, and related policies.
• Conduct extensive legal research, draft motions, and prepare legal opinions and memos.
