AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Environmental Planning Intern for Spring 2027 to join our Tampa, FL office. The intern will contribute to various technical reports and planning memos, analyze environmental impacts, and coordinate project-related tasks.

No prior experience is required for candidates enrolled in a relevant degree program. This internship offers hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities for career exploration while being part of a world-class engineering organization committed

Qualifications

• No experience is generally required if accepted into a Bachelor's degree program in a related technical field.
• Must have completed 30 hours towards a Planning degree from an accredited college/university by the start of the internship.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the preparation of technical reports and planning memos.
• Visits project sites and gathers data.
• Analyzes social, cultural, physical and environmental impacts of projects.
• Provides written and graphic input for technical memos.
• Coordinates graphic exhibit preparation for planning projects.
• Provides support at public meetings.
• Participates in team meetings and collaborates on project tasks.
• Demonstrates a willingness to learn new tools and processes.
