HNTB in Harrisburg, PA, is seeking an Environmental Scientist II to join our Environmental Planning team. You will work with a multidisciplinary group on transportation and infrastructure projects across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland, supporting planning through construction and helping navigate environmental regulations.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree with relevant experience as described.
- Experience with NEPA and environmental permitting is preferred.
- Ability to communicate technical information effectively.
Responsibilities
- Conducts field investigations and gathers scientific data with minimal oversight.
- Determines best methodologies for field analysis and sets up equipment.
- May develop new methodologies and technical approaches with Senior Scientist.
- Prepares data analyses, modeling, and reports to support environmental findings.
- Reviews and evaluates technical reports for environmental review and permitting.
- Collects and reports on environmental impacts of transportation projects.
- Provides technical advice to project engineers on scientific aspects.
- Coordinates with agencies and stakeholders on management strategies.
