Job summary

Kleinfelder is seeking an Environmental Permit & Planning Professional to join the Environmental Permitting and Planning (EP&P) Team in the Allentown, PA; Pittsburgh, PA; or Mechanicsburg, PA area. The role requires strong wetland delineation skills, regulatory agency experience, and the ability to coordinate with federal, state, and local agencies.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Environmental Science and 6–10 years of relevant experience, with a track record of preparing permitting documents

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Biological, or Ecological Science, Environmental Policy, or related field.
6–10 years of environmental consulting or regulatory agency experience in the region.
Experience coordinating with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities

Perform wetland and other natural resources surveys and support permitting processes (Section 401/404).
Prepare and review permitting documents and reports for state and federal approvals.
Mentor junior staff and collaborate across a multi-disciplinary team.
Engage directly with staff and regulatory agencies and support marketing/proposal activities.
