Job summary

IPX Power USA, LLC is seeking an Environmental Permitting and Compliance Lead to drive construction-phase permit implementation, compliance, and revegetation/restoration for U.S. projects.

You will manage consultants, negotiate contracts, and ensure regulatory adherence across development, construction, and operations teams. You will engage with EPCs, O&M providers, and internal groups to align schedules, budgets, and reporting, while ensuring environmental standards are met and improvements are

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in a related field with at least six years of experience.
  • Experience with local, state, federal land management, wildlife, and regulatory agencies.
  • Experience working on controversial projects with a high degree of public exposure.
  • Wildlife ecology background a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead permit compliance strategy for operational assets.
  • Coordinate permit and compliance requirements for all under-construction assets.
  • Manage environmental permit compliance requirements for all operational assets.
  • Provide annual environmental trainings for onsite operations teams.
  • Direct the work of external consultants in surveys and diligence documents for environmental & permitting compliance.
  • Coordinate reporting with internal colleagues for environmental approvals and contracts.
  • Attend site visits for construction monitoring or agency reviews as needed.
  • Oversee reporting to agencies such as CDFW, CEC, BLM, USFWS, and others.
  • Attend agency meetings to discuss post-construction survey results and mitigation obligations.
  • Represent IPX Power at industry discussions and share key takeaways internally.
  • Manage and update project construction and operations compliance schedules and budgets.
  • Develop internal presentation materials for executive management and stakeholders.
