Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Science, Environmental Science, or related field. Equivalent work experience may be substituted.
• A minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience is required.
• Knowledge of Virginia environmental permitting requirements related to energy industry.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate environmental permitting for projects and programs.
• Coordinate environmental activities to ensure 100% compliance and field verifications.
• Collaborate with business partners to minimize environmental risk while meeting regulatory needs.
• Maintain knowledge of current environmental regulations and regulatory processes.
• Analyze and interpret environmental rules and guidelines to meet requirements.
• Oversee environmental surveys, reports, assessments, and permits.
• Partner with construction teams to achieve compliance goals and provide improvement recommendations.
• Lead meetings and calls with internal and external stakeholders.
