Job summary

Bridger Pipeline LLC is seeking an on-site Permitting Specialist in Casper, WY to manage federal/state permit applications for pipeline projects. You will prepare environmental assessments, develop permitting packages, and maintain compliance documentation across multiple projects.

Responsibilities include coordinating with regulatory agencies, including the BLM, leading NEPA/MEPA efforts, and ensuring MFSA/DEQ compliance.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in a related field with 3–5 years’ experience in federal pipeline permitting and compliance.
Working knowledge of NEPA/MEPA processes, including EIS and EA development.
Experience interacting with regulatory agencies, including the BLM.
Strong technical writing, communication, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

Prepare, draft, and submit federal and state permit applications for pipeline projects.
Develop environmental assessments, technical reports, and complete permitting packages.
Maintain organized permit files, tracking systems, and compliance logs in accordance with company standards.
Serve as primary liaison with the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and other regulatory agencies.
Coordinate and facilitate agency meetings, communications, and information requests.
Lead and support NEPA and MEPA compliance activities, including EIS and EA development.
Interpret and apply federal, state, and local environmental regulations to project execution.
Monitor environmental compliance throughout the project lifecycle and manage documentation.
Identify compliance risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
Travel to project sites as needed.
