Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. is seeking an Environmental Manager for our Delhi (NY) and Newington (CT) sites. You will oversee the Environmental Management System, drive energy, water and waste improvements, and serve as an environmental advisor across operations, maintenance, and engineering.

You will lead data-driven planning, KPI monitoring, and capability-building, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet sustainability goals and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science or related field.
• 3+ years working in a manufacturing plant with utility systems.
• Knowledge of/experience in dairy industry is desirable.
• Strong problem solving and data-driven approach.
• Experience implementing EMS and energy/water/waste programs.
• Willingness to travel between site locations (monthly).

Responsibilities

• Oversee implementation of the Environmental Management System at the site.
• Monitor and measure environmental KPIs to drive improvements.
• Develop tactical plans to reduce energy, water, and waste.
• Build EMS capability through training and tools.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, sustainability, and engineering.
