Job summary

Illinois Farm Bureau is seeking a professional to develop and implement outreach programs and events related to priority issues in Illinois. You will coordinate logistics, secure venues, recruit speakers, and host programs while preparing reports and monitoring trends to keep leadership informed.

Regular travel is required across Illinois, with a base pay range of $62,000–$85,250 and eligibility for a Short-Term Incentive plan.

Qualifications

• Plans, develops and executes educational programs for the organization.
• Creates communications and promotional materials to encourage and maximize participation in programs and issues.
• Coordinates all logistical preparations for events and programs, such as securing locations, making site preparations, recruiting speakers, hosting onsite and managing all event/program details.
• Performs basic research, prepares reports, and provides information, as requested.
• Exercises professional leadership by keeping abreast of current trends, developments, and opportunities within field of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements outreach and engagement programs and events related to priority issues for IFB.
• Updates and disseminates information, monitors trends, and coordinates IFB's involvement regarding issues within assigned area of responsibility.
