Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, document, test, implement, and integrate new and existing software solutions to meet the business needs of the Illinois Farm Bureau (IFB).
- Support and maintain third‑party software solutions.
- Analyze user needs, system requirements, and business processes to determine technical requirements.
- Identify, evaluate, and recommend new technologies for implementation.
- Translate user requirements into technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain detailed system documentation.
- Diagnose and resolve software issues; detect trends and patterns in support requests that indicate a need for code revision.
- Support testing and problem‑solving/debugging of solutions.
- Serve as project manager for technology projects, software implementations, and systems upgrades.
- Provide various reports as assigned.
- Exercise professional leadership by keeping abreast of current trends, developments, technologies, methodologies, and opportunities within the field of responsibility.
Qualifications
- Typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education, and training.
- Normal office environment.
- Extensive computer work.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed, including outside of regular business hours for maintenance, upgrades, and/or cyclical processes.
- Ability to lift, move, and/or carry equipment up to 50 pounds.
- Occasional travel.
Compensation
- Base Pay Range: $89,200 – $122,650 (typical range of potential salary offers for candidates hired). Factors used to determine actual salary include specific skills, qualifications, and experience.
- Incentive Pay: Eligible for a Short‑Term Incentive plan in addition to base salary.
