Job summary

Block by Block is seeking an Environmental Operations Manager to oversee one of our Ambassador programs. You will supervise a field team, coordinate facilities operations and groundskeeping, and drive continual program improvements.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of management experience, excellent customer service and communication skills, and comfort working outside in varying weather. This role offers daily coaching, inventory management, and hands-on leadership.

Salary: $78K - $80K plus annual bonus

(weekly pay, pay advance before pay day, free uniforms, great benefits)

M-F, 6a - 3pm

Are you a leader/manager with 5-7 years of experience infacilities operations management or public spaces administration? Block by Block is seeking an Environmental Operations Manager to oversee one of our Ambassador programs. This role requires advanced client relationship management skills to manage daily district program operations and deliver continual program improvements. We're looking for someone with strong managerial skills, a great work ethic, experience supervising a team of employees, and a passion for creating a great experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Hiring and training a positive, skilled, and dependable team.
• Adjusting the deployment of resources to match changing needs.
• Identifying and solving problems to improve program quality.
• Procuring and managing inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Reporting outcomes through various channels (spreadsheets, Kronos Timekeeping, Budgets).
• Hands-on working management in the field to provide coaching, mentoring, and continuous training.
