Job summary

Onterris is seeking an Operations Manager in Orlando, Florida to lead day-to-day operations across site assessment, remediation, compliance, engineering and natural resource management. You will drive profitable work, maintain the Orlando office P&L, and collaborate with regional leadership.

You will own responsibilities in corporate administration, operations management, financial management, staff management and client/project delivery, ensuring safety, compliance, and high performance.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage day-to-day operations of the Orlando office and all service lines (Site Assessment & Remediation, Compliance & Engineering, Natural Resource Management).
• Develop, implement, and monitor operational goals, targets, and performance metrics.
• Ensure Service Line Managers develop workforce plans that support demand, initiatives, and staffing requirements.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking with corrective actions as needed.
• Monitor office workload, resource allocation, and staffing utilization to maximize efficiency.
• Manage backlog through monthly project estimates-to-complete reviews and Salesforce pipeline analysis.
• Conduct routine operations planning meetings to review workloads, forecasts, and corporate initiatives.
• Coordinate recruiting, onboarding, and workforce planning with HR and Service Line Managers.
• Ensure all operations are conducted safely and in compliance with policies, regulations, and industry standards.
