Job summary

Cemteks is seeking a Project Engineer for Environmental Monitoring Systems in Hatfield, PA. The role focuses on designing and configuring CEMS components, DAHS, and PLC-based controls to measure and report emissions for regulatory requirements.

You will travel up to 30% for field work, collaborate with suppliers, and support FATs while ensuring project budgets and timelines are met. Strong English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years electrical, mechanical, or instrumentation design experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Environmental or Mechanical).
• Experience with CAD drawings, Bills of Materials, and customer submittals.
• Willing to travel up to 30%.
• Excellent English written and oral communication skills.
• Experience programming PLC/SCADA/DCS/HMI.

Responsibilities

• Engineer electrical & instrumentation packages.
• Apply formulas for pollutant data and store in SQL databases.
• Prepare design documents, I/O lists, and CAD drawings.
• Interface with suppliers and evaluate new technologies.
• Field commissioning activities as needed.
• Manage schedule, budget, and customer communications.
• Support Factory Acceptance Tests and field technicians.
• Configure PLC/HMI systems and programming.
• Control configuration, data handling, and logic sequencing.
