Job summary

Cemtek KVB-Enertec Inc. seeks a CEMS Analyzer Field Service Technician to calibrate, maintain, test, and repair gas analyzers in continuous emission monitoring systems at client sites. The role involves hands-on work with electrical instrumentation and adherence to QA/QC procedures.

The position requires traveling to refinery and industrial locations, lifting 50+ pounds, and availability for overtime and on-call weekends as needed. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Two plus years of experience traveling to client sites to work with CEM systems and operating analyzer platforms from ABB, Siemens, Rosemount, Teledyne, Thermo.
• Experience with CEMS or quickly gaining knowledge of CEMS and related products.
• Knowledge of environmental compliance requirements (40 CFR Part 75, 60, RELCAIM) and related state/local rules.
• Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, testing and servicing industrial electrical instrumentation and controls.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibration, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repair on gas analyzers and analytical instrumentation in CEMS.
• Maintain logs and required documentation for repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Work at client facilities including oil refineries, chemical plants, and power generation sites.
• Identify safety hazards and work in a safe manner.
• Complete preventive, corrective, and scheduled maintenance; improve operation of systems and instruments.
