Job summary

Fagron Tech is hiring a Microbial Identification Technician to ensure environmental monitoring samples are processed per SOPs under GMP and GDP. You will incubate samples, interpret results, perform growth promotion qualifications, identify organisms, and support media fills.

You will also report adverse events, track EM data for trends, and assist in investigations while collaborating with the team to improve lab processes.

Qualifications

• Analytical skills to interpret environmental data and identify compliance issues.
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data entry, reports and documentation.
• Good organizational skills for managing multiple samples and documentation.
• Ability to lift at least 30 pounds as part of sample handling and equipment movement.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel is required.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a team.
• Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or related field or minimum 2 years of pharma lab experience.

Responsibilities

• Incubate environmental samples and document per ALCOA principles.
• Read, interpret, and report EM test results.
• Perform environmental monitoring growth promotion qualification testing.
• Identify organisms recovered from the facility.
• Support media fill activities.
• Report adverse events to department leadership.
• Track EM data for trends and repeat events; assist investigations as needed.
• Assist in writing investigations and improving lab SOPs.
• Support regulatory and customer audits with requested documentation and evidence.
