Job summary

Fagron US in Wichita seeks a Microbial Identification (MID) Technician to ensure environmental monitoring activities are completed in accordance with GMP and Good Documentation Practices. You will incubate samples, interpret results, perform growth promotion testing, identify recovered organisms, and support media fill activities.

The role requires handling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, accurate data entry, and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Degree in Microbiology or related field, or at least 2 years in a pharma lab.
• Analytical skills to interpret environmental data and identify compliance issues.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; able to lift 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Incubate samples and ensure documentation follows ALCOA principles.
• Read, interpret and report EM test results.
• Identify organisms from the facility and support media fill activities.
• Assist in audits and regulatory documentation.
