Job summary

Capstone is seeking a Senior Associate to join our Environmental Services team in New York or Washington, DC. The role focuses on quantitative research and analysis to identify differentiated investment insights across environmental sectors.

The successful candidate will analyze companies, industries, regulatory developments, and market trends, and translate findings into actionable recommendations for clients and senior team members. Strong writing and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Four-year Bachelor's degree required; degrees in finance, economics, mathematics, business, or other quantitative disciplines preferred.
• 1–2 years of professional experience for Associate candidates or recently graduated Master’s candidates.
• Experience in quantitative consulting, investment banking, private equity, equity research, corporate strategy, turnaround/restructuring advisory, or related field.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and analysis across environmental services sector to identify differentiated investment opportunities.
• Analyze companies, industries, regulatory developments, market trends, and financial data to assess impact on businesses and investors.
• Develop differentiated insights and investment ideas supported by rigorous analysis.
• Communicate findings clearly to clients and senior team members.
