Job summary

Skanska is seeking an Environmental Manager to join our heavy civil transportation infrastructure team in the NYC Metro area. The role focuses on integrating environmental services into business practices and ensuring regulatory compliance across projects.

The Environmental Manager will interact with EH&S staff, superintendents, project managers, and the project executive to deliver safe, compliant, and sustainable outcomes on site.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety/Health or an engineering discipline or equivalent combination of training and related experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
  • Practical knowledge of project management.

  • Oversee environmental service activities across projects and liaise with EH&S staff, superintendents, project managers, and the project executive.

The Environmental Manager is responsible for the integration of environmental services into the business practices and compliance with regulatory requirements. The Environmental Manager oversees responsibilities of all project activities related to environmental services and has direct interaction with EH&S Staff, Superintendents, Project Manager and Project Executive.

Environmental Manager Qualifications:

Salary Low USD $108,500.00/Yr.
