Job summary

Misericordia Home seeks an Environmental Manager in Chicago to oversee staff, supervise the home’s condition and use of supplies, and ensure health and safety compliance. The role involves regular training, timely maintenance reporting, and supporting residents in home upkeep.

You will monitor sanitation, manage furniture and purchasing needs, and uphold Misericordia’s high standards while collaborating with a dedicated team. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

At Misericordia, the Environmental Manager provides staff oversight and training on a regular basis. The Environmental Manager supervises the physical condition of the home, and the use of all supplies, food, and equipment in the home.

The Environmental Manager maintains the home according to health and safety regulations; reports and documents maintenance needs in a timely manner; implements sanitation practices; maintains food and sanitation certification; assists residents in their responsibilities for upkeep of their home; monitors the need for furniture or other items to maintain high standards for the home; monitors the use of house supplies; and completes supply orders.

As an Environmental Manager, You Will:
