Misericordia Heart of Mercy in Chicago is seeking a Residential Supervisor to ensure high-quality, person-centered care in an assigned residential area. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, oversee daily unit operations, and model the organization’s mission and values.

The role requires a High School Diploma, at least one year of experience with developmental disabilities, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs and operate lifts.

At Misericordia, the Residential Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care to residents within an assigned residential area. What We're Looking For

• High School Diploma required
• Minimum of one (1) year of full-time experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
• Demonstrated professionalism, maturity, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage staff with fairness, consistency, and impartiality while supporting a diverse and inclusive workplace
• Ability to work collaboratively with administrative staff and interdisciplinary teams
• Ability to provide direct care to residents
• Ability to remain on feet for extended periods and conduct frequent rounds throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. unassisted and more than 40 lbs. with assistance; ability to safely operate mechanical lifts
• Ability to manage high-stress situations effectively
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance and positive body language to support a welcoming environment
• Reliable attendance and flexibility to work weekends and some holidays
• Certified Medication Passer or eligible for certification
• Proficiency in required Misericordia software systems (e.g., AWARDS, ADP, Infinitec) and basic computer skills including typing, documentation, and data entry

Pay

• Residential Supervisor: $27.00 per hour

Shift Differentials

• ON (11:00pm - 7:00am)
