Job summary

Braskem seeks an Environmental Leader to support the Health and Environmental Safety team at the Oyster Creek site, with responsibilities including regulatory compliance, program development, and incident investigations. The role collaborates across Braskem Oyster Creek and Seadrift facilities to drive environmental improvement and sustainability goals.

Qualifications

5–10 years experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.
Strong leadership and communication skills; proficient MS Office and organizational skills.
Experience with EPA/OSHA regulations and working with regulatory agencies.
Excellent verbal and written communication; collaborative teamwork.

Responsibilities

Oversee Environmental programs at Braskem Oyster Creek and Seadrift Facilities.
Develop policies for air, water, and waste systems per regulations.
Audit emissions, waste, and environmental compliance with regulations.
Prepare reports (Emissions Inventory, TRI, NSPS VV/DDD, HRVOC, Annual Waste Summary) for agencies.
Interface with regulators; schedule tests and provide follow-up documentation.
Support operations on flare and waste management issues.
