Job summary

Suffolk University Law School’s Environmental Law & Policy Clinic invites applications for a Clinical Fellow to help teach and supervise students during the 2026-27 academic year. The Fellow will work with a Visiting Clinical Professor to manage the docket and supervise clinical students in case and project work, and assist in teaching the related clinical seminar.

This is a full-time, 1-year appointment with potential renewal.

Qualifications

• JD and Massachusetts Bar admission or eligibility within six months
• 2–5 years in environmental/energy/land use/municipal/admin law and/or legislative and regulatory drafting
• Interest in legislative advocacy and environmental policy
• Experience mentoring or working with junior attorneys or law students
• Past clinic participation preferred
• Experience with diverse communities and stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Manage the docket and supervise clinical students in case and project work
• Help teach the related clinical seminar
• Collaborate with Visiting Clinical Professor to oversee the ELPC
• Support development and mentoring of students in environmental law practice
