Job summary

Suffolk University Law School welcomes applications for an entry-level tenure-track Clinical Professor to direct its Environmental Law and Policy Clinic. The ELPC, established in 2023, serves underserved communities and engages in environmental, energy, and land use matters.

The Clinical Professor will lead all aspects of ELPC, including docket management, supervising students, and teaching the clinical seminar.

Qualifications

• At least five years of environmental law experience is required.
• Prior experience in clinical education is preferred.
• Admitted or eligible for admission to the Massachusetts Bar within six months of beginning the position.

Responsibilities

• Direct the Environmental Law & Policy Clinic (ELPC), including managing the docket.
• Supervise clinical students in their case and project work.
• Teach the related clinical seminar.
• Develop relationships within the legal community and with the communities served.
