Job summary

Lewis Environmental, Inc. is seeking a field technician to execute assignments across Remediation, Waste Transportation, Industrial Maintenance, and Emergency Response while upholding safety, accountability, integrity, and quality.

You will follow supervisors, perform manual labor, and travel as needed for planned and emergency services. The role emphasizes safety training, regulatory compliance, and teamwork in a fast-paced field environment.

Qualifications

• MVR and criminal background must be clear.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Flexibility in schedule including weekends and on-call status.
• Strong emphasis on safety, quality, accountability, integrity, and teamwork.
• 40 hours OSHA safety training is a plus.
• DOT Examiner’s Certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow direction of supervisors to perform assigned tasks.
• Practice safe work practices and attend required safety trainings.
• Perform manual labor and industrial cleaning per policy and procedures.
• Travel daily and overnight for planned and emergency work.

Summary

This position is responsible for executing field assignments within the Company’s four service lines: Remediation, Waste Transportation, Industrial Maintenance, and Emergency Response while ensuring Lewis Environmental, Inc. Expectations/Responsibilities

Follow direction of supervisors to perform assigned tasks. Practice safe work Practices by following all Company safety rules and OSHA regulations, including attendance at all required safety training programs. Perform a wide variety of manual labor tasks. Perform Industrial Cleaning tasks in accordance with Company and/or Client Policy and Procedures to ensure safety and quality goals are met. Travel daily and overnight when performing both planned and emergency services work. Adhere to all regulations and procedures regarding the handling of hazardous and non-hazardous materials. Additional responsibilities will be shared with qualified applicants during the interview process.

Requirements

Qualifications/Competencies

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and Criminal Background.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Must have flexibility in personal schedule including weekend and on call status

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and exert physical effort performing manual labor the majority of the day
• Ability to work in confined spaces
• Ability to wear respirators as needed
• Ability to lift 60 lbs.
• Ability to travel in inclement weather and work in severe weather conditions both hot and cold
• Able to tolerate exposure to moderate noise levels
