Job summary

HawkMtn Labs is seeking Entry Level Laboratory Technicians to support testing and data collection for environmental samples. Training is provided to test, measure, analyze, interpret, and record results according to procedures.

Candidates should learn practical techniques, follow SOPs, and maintain precise records. Full-time roles offer medical/vision/dental coverage, 401K match, and paid holidays. Part-time opportunities are also available.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Both full-time and part-time positions available.
  • Full-time hours: 40 per week; part-time: 20–30 per week.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare samples for analysis.
  • Perform laboratory tests to produce reliable and precise data.
  • Operate and maintain standard laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
  • Ensure required supplies for testing are stocked and resourced.
  • Record, analyze, and interpret results meeting QC requirements.
  • Maintain daily logbook of testing and equipment maintenance.
  • Follow quality control regulations and safety procedures.

Job description

Entry Level Laboratory Technicians

As a Laboratory Technician, you are responsible for providing the technical support that enables the laboratory to function effectively.

Extensive training is provided for all processes according to the correct specified procedures, while adhering to strict health and safety guidelines.

Upon successful completion of training, you will be able to test, measure, analyze, interpret and record results for various types of environmental samples.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Prepare samples for analysis
  • Perform laboratory tests in order to produce reliable and precise data to support scientific investigations
  • Operate and maintain standard laboratory equipment and/or instrumentation
  • Responsible for ensuring their required supplies for testing are well-stocked and resourced
  • Records, analyzes, and interprets results of analysis and solving problems/issues to ensure data meets all QC requirement
  • Maintains accurate daily logbook of testing conducted, results, and regular maintenance of equipment
  • Adheres to quality control regulations
  • Follows strict safety procedures and safety checks in compliance with operating practices
Experience & Education

High school diploma or GED

Both Full Time & Part Time positions are available.

Full Time positions require 40 regular hrs per week

Part Time positions 20-30 regular hrs per week.
