Job summary

Pace Labs in Bakersfield, CA is seeking a Lab Technician to support the sample preparation department of our environmental testing laboratory. You will receive all the training you need to successfully take on your new role and grow an exciting laboratory sciences career at Pace®.

Hours are Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM with compensation of $17.00 per hour. The salary reflects location and experience, with an emphasis on safety and documentation in a full-time setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support all laboratory sample-related activities, including preservation, preparation, processing, and maintenance.
• Maintain and update appropriate documentation and databases.
• Participate in training on fundamental lab support policies, programs, and practices.
