Pace® Analytical Services is seeking a Lab Technician for our environmental testing laboratory in the United States. You will join the sample preparation department and receive training to grow a meaningful career in laboratory sciences.

We value curiosity, initiative, and the drive to protect our environment. This role offers full-time employment in a hands-on lab setting with opportunities to advance within Pace’s environmental testing programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a lab or office setting, stand for long periods while conducting tests, work around strong smells, and wear PPE (lab coat, safety glasses, gloves — provided by Pace).
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support our Scientists by preparing water and soil samples prior to analysis.
• Follow a variety of established sample preparation procedures.
• Work with various solvents and chemicals for the preparation of samples.
• Maintain and update appropriate documentation and databases.
