Spllabs is looking for a motivated Laboratory Technician to join our Inorganics laboratory team in Reading. This full-time position involves supporting critical testing through sample preparation, analytical testing, and documentation management. You will work hands-on with laboratory equipment, ensuring compliance with quality standards to deliver reliable results.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and prior laboratory experience, contributing to a safe and efficient lab environment while enhancing technical expertise.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform effectively in a high-volume environmental laboratory.
• Strong attention to detail and consistent execution within established methods.
• Ability to quickly learn and apply new analytical methods and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic sample preparation and analytical testing.
• Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Support laboratory quality by following Good Laboratory Practices.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Biology, or a related scientific discipline
