Job summary

Arcwood Environmental is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform fingerprint and sales sample analyses in our United States facility. You will operate analytical instrumentation, prepare samples, and report data following EPA and RCRA-compliant methods, with a focus on safety and accuracy.

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry (or related field) and 2+ years of lab experience. Expectations include keeping detailed logs, calibrating equipment, and supporting the team on various

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related field is required.
• 2+ years of documented laboratory work experience if no degree is possessed.

Responsibilities

• Perform fingerprint and pre-approval sample analysis according to EPA, RCRA and waste analysis plan-approved methods.
• Operate instrumentation independently, calculate, run, prepare and report analytical data.
• Work with facility leader to ensure proper testing of product code analysis.
• Prioritize health and safety by following policies and maintaining safe practices.
• Prepare, log, and analyze samples per the Waste Analysis Plan and calibration curves.
• Monitor lab instrumentation and equipment, and manage inventory and purchasing requests.
• Maintain logs and coordinate retention and disposal of lab samples and waste per policy.
• Perform housekeeping and take on additional duties as assigned.
