Job summary

Pace® Analytical Services is hiring a Lab Technician to support the environmental testing laboratory in Sheridan, WY. This full-time, on-site position offers training and opportunities to grow within a safety-focused team dedicated to protecting public health.

You will perform sample preparation for water and soil analyses, adhere to established procedures, and help maintain accurate records. Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a lab or environmental testing setting is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a lab or office setting, stand for long periods, tolerate smells, and wear PPE provided by Pace.

Responsibilities

• Prepare water and soil samples for analysis following established procedures.
• Work with solvents and chemicals as part of sample preparation.
• Maintain and update documentation and databases.
• Support scientists in sample preparation and data handling.
